I chose this hotel for my recent stay while attending a trade show, and I was very pleased with my decision. The hotel provided excellent amenities, including a coffee shop/cafe, WiFi in public areas, and conference space. The event facilities were top-notch, with a conference center and meeting rooms available. Additionally, the bar/lounge provided a great space for networking and relaxing after a long day.
The only thing I missed during my stay was a dedicated business center. As a businessman, I would have found it convenient to have a dedicated space for work-related tasks, such as printing and photocopying.

The restuarant was excellent, the decor is smart and contemporary and although it was a Monday night in March and understandably empty (just 3 covers myself and colleague included) the quality of the food was very good. The lamb shank was cooked to perfection and there was an excellent variety of choice on the menu. Staff were friendly and attentive and communal areas were smart and comfortable. surrounded by stunning views and beautiful countryside.
Bathrooms were not clean, both myself and colleague noticed a selection of hairs in the bath and on the floor. My toilet seat was broken and would not stay up without being held and the shaver light was not working. Difficult to control the temperature in the rooms due to storage heaters, started off too cold and ended up cooked.

Exceptionally nice and absolutely perfect location short walk to a garden, taxi to Uppermill for the afternoon which is a bustling village with a great atmosphere and Clough Manor for a meal in a beautiful area. Outstanding food in the restaurant, above average breakfast with sausage and toast...

I chose this hotel for attending a business conference and it provided all the amenities I needed. The coffee shop/cafe was convenient for a quick caffeine boost, and the WiFi in public areas allowed me to stay connected. The conference space and meeting rooms were well-equipped, making it easy to conduct my work efficiently. Additionally, the bar/lounge provided a great atmosphere for networking after a long day of meetings.
The one service I missed for my work was a dedicated business center. It would have been helpful to have access to computers, printers, and other office equipment for any last-minute business needs.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The decoration in the hotel's general areas was exquisite, combining modern touches with the charm and character of the old farmhouse. The beautiful furnishings and cozy ambiance made me feel right at home. As a senior, I appreciated the accessibility of the hotel, with well-maintained ramps and spacious hallways that made it easy for me to navigate around the property.
The only small suggestion I have is that it would be wonderful if the children working there could provide a little more assistance and attention to detail. A warm and friendly welcome goes a long way, especially for senior guests who may need some extra help or guidance during their stay.

High quality, spotless rooms with great views, the garden, as for instance, stunning setting.
Poorly trained staff!

This hotel offers great value for money. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the attention to detail and the lovely touches in the rooms. I particularly enjoyed the double-ended bath, which added a touch of luxury to my stay. The location in the hills of Saddleworth, in a quiet village just northeast of Oldham, is perfect for those seeking a peaceful getaway with stunning views over open moorland. The staff provided excellent service throughout my stay, and the breakfast, prepared by a different chef, was simply delicious, using top-quality ingredients.
All aspects of my stay were more than satisfactory.

Incredible position in Oldham.

There was no shaver socket, only 1 hand towel and 1 bath towel for 2 people, no glasses, no hairdrier, just 1 teabag each and breakfast was only just adequate. Not at all good value for money.

The hotel is a convenient base for discovering Oldham, with a huge variety of food available in the dining room. The location is stunning and incredible, in a lovely area just next door to their restaurant. The hotel is situated 10 minutes drive from Tunshill Golf Club. The staff are pleasant and there is a very comfortable feel to the restaurant.

the staff were very welcoming
The rooms was dirty and the housekeeping was not anywhere near up to an acceptable level. The meals in the dining room were road side cafe standard and cold. There was no lift available

The hotel offers great value for money, with reasonable prices for its comfortable rooms and attentive service. The location in a quiet village just northeast of Oldham is perfect for those seeking a peaceful getaway in the beautiful hills of Saddleworth. The hotel staff provide basic amenities, and the rooms are well-equipped, including a really nice double-ended bath with great views. We were particularly impressed that the hotel was able to safely store our wedding cake in the week leading up to our special day. The breakfast, served by a different chef, was absolutely delightful, with excellent ingredients and a great range of options.
All was well, nothing to complain about.
